This medication is used to treat certain types of growths on the skin. These include precancerous growths (actinic keratoses), a certain type of skin cancer (superficial basal cell carcinoma), and warts on the outside of the genitals/anus. Treating these conditions can decrease complications from them. Imiquimod belongs to a group of drugs called immune response modifiers. It is believed to work by helping to activate your immune system to fight these abnormal skin growths.OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional.This drug may also be used to treat a skin infection called Molluscum contagiosum.How to use Aldara TopFirst read the manufacturer's patient information leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using imiquimod cream and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.Apply this medication to the affected area once a day, usually 2-5 times weekly for 6-16 weeks or as directed by your doctor. The dosage and length of treatment are based on your specific skin problem and response to therapy.Do not apply this medication into the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina. If you get this medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water. If irritation occurs, contact your doctor immediately.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use a calendar to mark the days you will be applying the medication each week. Before applying the medication, wash the area to be treated with soap and water, and dry thoroughly. Use a new packet of cream for each use. Apply as directed by your doctor just before going to bed. Wash your hands with soap and water after each application. Do not cover the treated area with bandages or other waterproof dressings. Covering the area with cotton gauze or cotton underwear for the genital area is permitted. Leave the cream on overnight, usually for about 8 hours or as directed. In the morning, wash the treated area with soap and water to remove the cream. Do not bathe or wet the treated area before the prescribed time has passed. Do not leave imiquimod cream on longer than prescribed by your doctor. Zithromax ( Generic Azithromycin )

Azithromycin is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as bronchitis; pneumonia; sexually transmitted diseases (STD); and infections of the ears, lungs, skin, and throat. Azithromycin is in a class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.Azithromycin comes as a tablet and oral suspension (liquid) to take by mouth. It is usually taken with or without food once a day for 1-5 days. To help you remember to take azithromycin, take it around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take azithromycin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Shake the liquid well before each use to mix the medication evenly. Use only the syringe provided to measure the correct amount of medication. Rinse the syringe with water after taking the full dose of medication.The tablets should be taken with a full glass of water.Take azithromycin until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. Stopping azithromycin too soon may cause bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics.

Coversyl ( Aceon, Generic Perindopril )

Perindopril is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. Perindopril is in a class of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It makes blood flow more smoothly by preventing the production of certain natural chemicals that tighten the blood vessels.Perindopril comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once or twice a day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take perindopril exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Your doctor may start you on a low dose of perindopril and gradually increase your dose.Perindopril controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. Continue to take perindopril even if you feel well. Do not stop taking perindopril without talking to your doctor.

Nivaquine-P ( Nivaquine, Aralen, Generic Chloroquine Sulphate )

Chloroquine phosphate is in a class of drugs called antimalarials and amebicides. It is used to prevent and treat malaria. It is also used to treat amebiasis.Chloroquine phosphate comes as tablet to take by mouth. For prevention of malaria in adults, one dose is usually taken once a week on exactly the same day of the week. Your doctor will tell you how many tablets to take for each dose. One dose is taken beginning 2 weeks before traveling to an area where malaria is common, while you are in the area, and then for 8 weeks after you return from the area. If you are unable to start 2 weeks before traveling, your doctor may tell you to take double the dose right away.For treatment of acute attacks of malaria in adults, one dose is usually taken right away, followed by half the dose 6 to 8 hours later and then half the dose once a day for the next 2 days.For prevention and treatment of malaria in infants and children, the amount of chloroquine phosphate is based on the child's weight. Your doctor will calculate this amount and tell you how much chloroquine phosphate your child should receive.For treatment of amebiasis, one dose is usually taken for 2 days and then half the dose every day for 2 to 3 weeks. It is usually taken in combination with other amebicides.Chloroquine phosphate may cause an upset stomach. Take chloroquine phosphate with food.Chloroquine phosphate is used occasionally to decrease the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and to treat systemic and discoid lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, pemphigus, lichen planus, polymyositis, sarcoidosis, and porphyria cutanea tarda. Talk to your doctor about the possible risks of using this drug for your condition.

Hydrocortisone ( Generic Hisone )

Hydrocortisone is a type of medicine known as a corticosteroid. Corticosteroids are hormones produced naturally by the adrenal glands which have many important functions on every organ system. Corticosteroids affect the strength of heart muscle and its response to natural chemicals affecting heart rate. They affect the water and salt balance in the body and also enable the body to cope with stress. Stress includes changes in temperature, pain, fear, anxiety and illness and can be hazardous if the body is not equiped to cope, due to low levels of corticosteroids. Corticosteroids allow us to respond to stress by increasing the rate and force of the heartbeat, increasing blood supply to essential tissues (muscle, heart, brain), increasing the body's supply of energy by raising blood sugar and by several other effects on body systems. Hydrocortisone is used as replacement therapy in people whose adrenal glands are not producing enough natural corticosteroids (adrenal insufficiency). This can be due to disease (Addison's disease), surgical removal of the adrenal gland(s) or damage to the adrenal glands. Tibolone, which is a synthetic steroid medicine used for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It mimics the activity of the female sex hormones oestrogen and progesterone and the androgen testosterone in the body.Oestrogen is the main sex hormone in the female body. Certain parts of the body, such as the vagina, bones and breasts, rely on oestrogens to function normally. When the levels of oestrogen are low, these tissues can slowly degenerate, as is experienced during and following the menopause. In addition, low levels of oestrogen can cause distressing symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings or depressed mood, reduced sex drive and vaginal dryness. The declining level of oestrogen at menopause can affect the bones, causing them to become thinner and more prone to breaking. Tibolone's oestrogenic effect can help prevent bone loss and fractures that may occur in women in the years after menopause. However, it is only used as a second-line option for women at high risk of fractures who cannot take other medicines that are licensed for preventing osteoporosis. Women considered to be at high risk of developing fractures following the menopause include those who have had an early menopause, those with a family history of osteoporosis, those who have had recent prolonged corticosteroid therapy (eg prednisolone), those with a small thin frame, and smokers. Women experiencing a natural menopause should not start treatment with this medicine until twelve months after their last natural menstrual bleed. This is because the medicine may cause irregular menstrual bleeding if it is started sooner than this.Women who have had a surgical menopause or are taking gonadorelin analogues can start treatment immediately.What is it used for? Remove the dust cover. If you are using the pump for the first time or have not used it for a week or more, you must prime it by following steps 4-5 below. If you have used the pump in the past week, skip to step 6. Hold the pump with the applicator between your forefinger and middle finger and the bottom of the bottle resting on your thumb. Point the applicator away from your body. If you are using the pump for the first time, press down and release the pump six times. If you have used the pump before, but not within the past week, press down and release the pump until you see a fine spray. Blow your nose until your nostrils are clear. Hold one nostril closed with your finger. Tilt your head slightly forward and carefully put the nasal applicator into your other nostril. Be sure to keep the bottle upright. Hold the pump with the applicator between your forefinger and middle finger and the bottom resting on your thumb. Begin to breathe in through your nose. While you are breathing in, use your forefinger and middle finger to press firmly down on the applicator and release a spray. Breathe gently in through the nostril and breathe out through your mouth. If your doctor told you to use two sprays in that nostril, repeat steps 6-12. Repeat steps 6-13 in the other nostril. Wipe the applicator with a clean tissue and cover it with the dust cover.
